How to repair cracks in concrete: Cut a groove on both sides of the croaky concrete

Using a diamond blade on your round saw, cut a one/2-in.-deep groove forth each side of the crack. Wear an N-95 respirator and plough on a fan to accident the physical dust out of the garage. Fleck out the cracked portion with a maul and cold chisel.

Physical cracks are acquired by sideways expansion, poor drainage atmospheric condition or settling soil beneath the concrete. Add latex modifier to regular concrete mix and pack it into the channel. Fill to within 1/ii in. of the original height. Let it set up for a few days, then make full with resurfacer. Establish a solid base for the resurfacer by filling the opening with concrete and letting it dry out (see Photo iii).

How to Repair Cracks in Concrete: Add together the resurfacer

Pour concrete resurfacing mixture into the scissure and polish it out with a rubber floor squeegee. Feather the edges to get the best appearance. Add together water to the resurfacer mix to become the consistency of pancake batter for the concrete scissure filler. And then fill up the remainder of the groove and smooth it over.
